How does an offline pilot list for an American or Eagle jumpseat? I hear there is a web site we have to go to. Thanks in advance

That's nice. In case anyone ELSE wants to know, or searches this thread in the future, here's the highlights.

1) List by calling 888-WE FLY AA (888-933-5922) Phone number is CLOSED 0245-0900 EST each day, ask an agent to create a listing for you instead. (personal note, I would try to do this at the ticket counter rather than at the gate, especially at smaller AE stations.)

2) Check in with gate agent upon arrival at gate.

3) Check in with the Captain, EVEN IF YOU ARE ISSUED A SEAT IN THE BACK.

4) Reciprocal agreement between your airline and AA/AE required, CASS participant, dress nice, no purchase necessary, must be 18 years of age to enter, not valid in all 50 states, consult a doctor if your condition worsens, your mileage may vary, etc etc.

No this is outdated, I do not even think the phone number works at all anymore. There is now a website you enter yourself into and it lists you. I did not want to post is public because it comes with basically no security features.
