So, still think the Company is bluffing? Good luck to all of you.

Don't think anyone considered this possibility a bluff. At any rate, it will be the final nail ensuring AA will not survive as a stand-alone carrier and this management's plan will fail.

IMO, at that point all of labor will make abandoning this management the #1 priority.

My AA Buddy has said "go ahead we will sit by and watch that place blaze down in flames before we give them one cold dime."

Default Brinksmanship

I think that AMR is still hoping for a Labor cave-in, but they know it won't happen until they reach the edge of the cliff. That's often worked in the past, and they can always cancel their Court filing at the last minute.

I say CAll their BLUFF. Take it to the judge. And when the judge speaks, 135,000 AMR employees tell him to SHOVE-IT!!
This might turn things around in OUR profession. Nough said....

Yep, I guess you'll be there to offer them all jobs...right!! Gotta love the prognosticators here. The same folks who've had it all figured out before are still pushing the same know-it-all attitude.

AA wont be going anywhere except back atop the Industry! For all those wishing or hoping for our demise, do us all a favor and leave, thus making room for those ready to move forward!!
