MSNBC Finally Gets One Correct

Most of that in stock as calculated from the price in 2010. After a 77% plunge in price, how much do you think it's worth now, not to mention the ability to sell it.
If that bothers you, there are several back up QBs in the NFL with a league minimum of over $1M/yr. That hasn't stopped people from spending 100s of dollars to take their family to ONE game.

Looks like he kept his pension..... can we say the same for sure about the APA guys?
Amazing all of the "pilots" on here who defend management. Either it's a conspiracy and they're all plants.... or (more sadly) this is a perfect example of why this profession is dead and will go the way of the Maritime industry... MOST PILOTS ARE FOOLS.
"I'm a red blooded American conservative!"
"I can't ever support commie pink unions"
"It's un-American to tell someone they can't!!!"
"Fox News is the truth, all else is Liberal lies!"
go on keep digging your grave....

"The proxy says that Arpey's pension includes $832,173 in a retirement benefit plan and $3,879,477 in a non-qualified plan."

A recent study found that people who watch Faux News are less informed than people who don't watch any news:
Fox News Viewers Know Less Than People Who Don't Watch Any News: Study
Fox News Viewers Know Less Than People Who Don't Watch Any News: Study
Do you really believe that people who make zero effort to watch the news are more informed? On what basis do these people come to their personal political/social beliefs?
Most news organizations have wandered away from journalistic integrity which has, up to this point in tme, been comprised of unbiased and credible reporting.
Fox is right, MSNBC is the left.....I'm not going to defend one over the other.
Political radicals are amongst the dumbest people in our society, in my opinion.

and here's one more gem for mr. Texas.... Apparently for his meritorious service in destroying yet another pilot contract and bringing the industry down yet even further, Mr. Auspray was awarded a new job... one which will surely more than offset the losses of his stock value at AMR..

It didn't take Gerard Arpey long to find a new job.
A Houston-based investment firm, Emerald Creek Group LLC, announced around 8:30 a.m. Tuesday that the really recently retired chairman and chief executive officer of AMR and American Airlines is joining Emerald Creek as a partner and co-leader.
Emerald Creek was founded by Larry Kellner, who retired as Continental Airlines chairman and CEO at the end of 2009. Kellner is Emerald Creek's president.
"We are very fortunate to have an executive of Gerard's caliber joining our team," Kellner said in the announcement.
"I have known Gerard for many years, and watched with admiration as he led American Airlines, with steadfast integrity and fortitude, through the most challenging decade in the history of the airline industry," he said.
"Few executives, in any industry, have confronted as many complex, difficult issues as Gerard has - and fewer still have led their companies through tough times with as much skill, character and grace," he said.
"I respect and admire Larry Kellner enormously," Arpey said. "Over the years, he and I worked closely together on a number of important airline industry initiatives through the Air Transport Association and other forums.
"I came to admire not only Larry's exceptional business acumen, but also his strong commitment to doing the right thing for all his constituencies including the community at large. We are very much aligned when it comes to our values and the way we approach life and business. I look forward to what we will accomplish together," Arpey said.
Emerald Creek was described in the announcement as "a Houston -based private equity firm focused on real estate with the primary objective of building an investment portfolio focused on sustainable value and long term growth."
