That guy has always had a vendetta against AA.

He does hit the nail on the head here:
"American Airlines has been the single carrier with the greatest potential to be better than it is today for many years. Their shortcomings are clear. But they have lacked leadership."

Because “you have always done it that way”. Great reasoning.

Maybe we can make a toggle on the union app to show if the pilot taking the airplane from you wants to wear the noisy lice infected ship set. I'd be happy to plug it in for you if you will do me the courtesy of not raising the seat all the way up. I'm too tall for that nonsense.

Regarding the article:

For a guy who never seems to pass up a chance to badmouth American, it is a well reasoned, balanced article full of constructive criticism that rings true to me. I think it's one of the least click bait things I've read from him.

Hopefully we will have a product I can be proud of before I retire. A man can dream.

American in USA is what AeroFlot is in Russia. the flag de-facto national airline. Say what you want about their management, but they indeed spend a lot of time eating dinners with Congressmen and inviting FAA etc big wigs for "tours of Skyview."

AA, the airline whose silent owner is really Citigroup, is not going anywhere

I think DL and UA would laugh at - "AA is the de-facto national airline of the U.S."
