The "master plan" at Clt doesn't address the fact that Charlotte is nothing but a white trash cracker town full of white trash crackers.
It will always have a terminal that looks like a worn out department store. Aa will never be able to demand a premium from it's hubs especially the old America West hubs because AA is modelled like a discounted domestic airline trying to masquerade as a world airline.

United and delta all have hubs in cities people want to live in where smart people make smart money. That's why they are better and will always be better. They don't have hubs in cities that attract the "I live here because it's cheap" crowd.
Let's list the 5 fastest growing cities (large metro areas) in the US

https://explodingtopics.com/blog/fastest-growing-cities

Hmm, looks like Charlotte, Ft Worth and Phoenix are on there. Denver too (good for United and Southwest)

I don't see NY, Boston, San Francisco, LA or Chicago on there. That doesn't mean they aren't important markets but unless you have been living under a rock (or you're an airline pilot over 60, but I repeat myself) you might have noticed big companies (the kind that attract those big money people you mentioned) moving to cities like Miami and Ft. Worth.

American doesn't seem to be doing fantastic in exploiting those trends to drive profit increases but at least their real estate is in the right place.

The dude has nothing original to contribute other than putting incendiary spins on old news or nothing-burger topics. A self-proclaimed "thought leader" with nobody following...

 Atlanta
San Francisco
Newark (New York)

Are all high earning and cosmopolitan cities.

Doesn't matter how fast those cities are growing when the people moving there are low value. The money is staying in the big cities, those are the people that spend the money going to Europe. Not some family that moved to Phoenix that shops at Aldi. They fly on AAs sardine can 737 maxes to Orlando.

You make a lot of good points, I’ve literally never seen a black person in Charlotte. Also, our entire country was settled because it was more expensive to live here and make a go of it, people love to move where it’s crowded and expensive.

I take anyone who uses “white trash cracker town” that freely about as seriously as I do anyone pushing Qanon quotes. The individual is a troll, and not a particularly good one.

And if not a troll, he’s just pathetic. Don’t mind him.
