For anyone that has used myaacareer.com, how "accurate" is it with their projects to upgrade or move equipment?

its purely historical trend information being projected to continue exactly as it is today. So take it with a grain of salt, but not useless

It seems to be way more conservative than reality.

Or gasp, all the 1 year upgrades on the 190. Some of them being forced…

Are you still at fedex? I left American as well for Purple, and had serious regrets shortly after joining. Now at the Air Line in Atlanta. Honestly, wish I would have never left American in the first place. I gave up a lot based off of bad advice and a lack of diligent research on my part, but it is what is is.

Some here think AA is our first 121 job.....

Our experience prior somehow doesn't count. Once they learned my background, they backed off a bit. What I mean a bit is they stopped directing it to me and more generalizations again.

(Again not to make this out to be a huge issue, this was with a handful of people I dealt with. Most have been great)

Yes and I have no regrets about my chocie.

I don't buy into the fear mongering or the doom and gloom. It's a slight hiccup in the road and I feel that FedEx with weather it just fine. I also don't buy into the nonsense coming from the current MEC.

End of the day, I'm still extremely happy with my chocie to leave AA.

how long do you think one should wait? Remember a 2022 hire will be ~5500 seniority in 10 years on property. Thats a senior line holding CA. Not to mention 15 years should hold junior WB captain. Thats a 40 year old for the younger new hires…
