ORD 320 CA went to a December 21 hire. PHX 737 CA an April 22 hire. A little more junior than I expected.

they said 30/30 to start this new status but instead almost doubled it. Surprised me too.
as one of those 57 I was surprised too.

Same thing happened pre-covid IIRC when they awarded 50+ LGA 737/I and were only budgeting 30 or some such. It was funny people actually were mad they awarded so many.

It will be interesting to see the bid pack makeup of the 737 in PHX, as the Airbus is quite bad.

no, the thing that was messed up about that 2019 bid was that they posted ZERO vacancies in LGA 737 INT CA and awarded a boatload. The union got upset. Made pilots upset because it made it plainly clear that vacancy bids are out of date (wrong) the second they are published, and have no bearing whatsoever on awards…

this company is 100% “bid what you want,
want what you bid”, you never know what you could get.

Gotcha I knew there was something about it that turned people off.

Is it even possible to get awarded sth on the final award if you didn’t get it on the preliminary?. Hopefully not!. I bid a base and then I regretted it, but I got lucky and didn’t get it on the preliminary. But I wonder if that could change with the final one.

I think I heard yea that could change. I also know someone who got LGA in PRE, then LAX on final. So things can change.

I agree...remote. How close were you? 1 off...the chances are much higher, but still unlikely. 10 off and almost zero chance of a change.

It was just a base swap. Nobody got DFW320 I think so I guess that means zero movement planned on this award.
