My 3-day is currently showing anywhere from 90% to oversold on all six legs. We may be filling fewer planes but the planes we are flying are still full from what I see.

Hubs to Hubs are still full.....that's about it. The reason we always have jumpseaters on those is because we DH too many people.

I did a LAX-MIA yesterday, 120 PAX in a 321…demand is softer, it is what it is. Terminals are way less crowded too.

First time at an airline? After school starts, demand drops way off. It will drop even more after Labor Day. It will only get busy again during the holidays. Passenger counts are still up year over year.

Seriously.

This happens every year, since forever.

The doom crew doesn't sleep. Too bad we don't have The Line anymore so the "7,000 Furloughs" guy from 2020 can come tell everyone to get their house in order.

Everything to/from DFW has been full for me. The only half-empty flights I’ve operated are those old RJ connection routes out of CLT they love to assign to us Dallas reserve folks.

Whoever said just bid avoid CLT to avoid trips with a heavy amount of total legs was spot on haha.

Fifth airline actually. Where’s the doom in my comment? Did I say all this wasn’t normal?

for those that got their house in order back then, do they have to maintain order or can you let it slide a bit? Seems like a pain either way.

Nope, just need to get their financial lake house/financial boat/financial plane/financial second wife/financial RV in order this time.

You guys know they post the MTD load factor in the Operations Playback email right?? I guess you're not going to get a breakdown of load factor from school back in session to today, but it's listed for the month. Your anecdotal schedule means nothing for how full the 6000 flights we fly a day are.
