Absolutely agree. I think seniority is going to be more of a player than it is now. However, at the end of the day you still only have x amount of reserves and y amount of open time. It will definitely change my bidding strategy and it may take me a few months to get it right. Worse case I go back to a line. I'm middle of the pack in my bid status and live in base and have had a pretty good quality of life. It's not for everyone. I have a friend close by that's similar in seniority but hates not knowing his schedule. On average he works about 3 to 4 more days a month than I do but he's fine with that.

I think long call will have enough people to actually utilize the blocks. I expect short call to be 'open' because only a couple pilots seem to have the same number of days available. We shall see.

On average, the pilots on reserve will fly more in the new system than in the old. That's just the nature of having a more efficient system. But yeah, there will be outlyers on both ends of the spectum.
