We need to leave room on the servers so this place stays around.

You are right about the schedule though. Fewer legs is fewer delays and reschedules.
Ha. Try about 550,000 lbs more weight. 223,000 lbs MTOW vs 775,000 lbs MTOW. Any Boeing rides better than an Airbus 320/330 family in turbulence. Not throwing stones at the Airibus just stating the facts. No clue about the A350/380.

It's not just inertial mass. Wing loading also helps. 321 XLR will be around 150 lbs/sq ft vs 777-300's 165 lbs/sq ft. Newer w/b's are in the upper 130's. 737-8 is 129 lbs/sq ft.

787 has active Gas Alleviation System (wrong term...it's something like that) that constants uses inboard ailerons to reduce vertical G's by approx. 1/3. It's the best ride out there - higher, faster, smoother, quieter. Aka 'the Six Millon Dollar Plane' with apologies to Colonel Steve Austin.

People who do know who Cory is will listen to his words a lot more than whatever you say about AA pilot hiring, with or without salt.

How well has that worked out for them over the last year? Better yet, ask all those with hanging CJOs and canceled class dates how well Cory did for them considering the training/hiring quotas changed about 10 times this year before finally shutting off. But hey, I’m sure Cory is a great guy and will have a beer with you or whatever.

Sorry to everybody I offended by not knowing who the **** cory is. You would think I just killed a kitten around here or something.

Somebody didn’t read their PRIA paperwork when they got hired.

Well as someone with a July CJO, I’m hopeful for an August Class.

Does anyone know if there is a validity window for CJOs?

January 10th CJO here. They are valid for one year. Got that from AA hiring on the phone when I was informed of the hiring pause. Hoping that the January restart is true.

They may have been talking about your drug screening if you’d done that already. AA is the only airline that does not have a validity period on CJOs. Personally know some sitting on ones for more than 2 years and had other military classmates that were ~2 years.

You going to blame Cory for the industry changing? I'll give you a clue - he's not responsible nor does he make the decisions. But when decisions were/are made above him he, and not you, had the best idea of what the future plans were. Some of which he could share, some of it he couldn't.

It looks like AA's spinning up for future hiring. People are more concerned, and interested, in that they worrying about your latest beef.

Wow, you are dense. Try to follow along next time. My whole point was that Cory Feldman, the training, and the hiring departments do not make the decisions and are often the last to know. Take what they say with a grain of salt.

My point, which seems to be lost on everybody, is that even those in recruitment and training are the last to hear about changes like the rest of us. They are not making the decisions. So while it is nice to hear from them, take what they say with a grain of salt.
