I have no clue who Cory is. "They" refers to whoever they sent to talk to us. My point, which seems to be lost on everybody, is that even those in recruitment and training are the last to hear about changes like the rest of us. They are not making the decisions. So while it is nice to hear from them, take what they say with a grain of salt.

I think some hiring is likely unless we have a massive economic shock but I'll take the under on 40 per week all year. I would love to be wrong.

We can all agree that hiring asap will help everyone. At CQT recently, one of the Airbus fleet guys mentioned XLR/ NEO deliveries will necessitate a 1000 pilot expansion in the fleet. 319's will be around for the foreseeable future with upgrades (to include displays, CPDLC, Data link, and more). Also, they are supposedly looking at picking some more 319's.
