There absolutely are at FDX/UPS. I think at one point while I was there the junior trained and on-line A300 CA at FedEx was under 4 years.

I have ~850 PIC Turbine, but 250 of that is multi.

Haha! We shall see. It definitely features nothing outside North America.

I’ll be another example of widebody captain fairly quickly as I held it after hitting six years on property (UPS).

I know a couple of people that received emails today saying they still have a CJO, but new-hire classes have been put on hold with a decision about future classes coming 1st quarter 25.

What is unknown is if the company is still interviewing/giving out CJOs.

they interviewed and gave out CJOs yesterday. Will be interesting to see if they continue beyond that.

Listening to the town hall last night. A negotiator that has been over at head quarters often said he felt a very different vibe since the firing of Vasu. Nervous, and concerned I think he mentioned. To stop hiring that abruptly is a concern for sure. Blame Boeing a little bit but 800+ are retiring per year over the next couple years. I think management was banking on a lighter version of the NEA with JetBlue. Maybe that is officially done. The flights are absolutely packed. I can't believe a management team can F this up this bad. How can they keep their jobs? We have been aiming to catch Delta for the last 11 years and we have drifted backward. For those at the bottom I would say prepare. Prepare to be underwhelmed by unity among the pilot group. The junior will be forgotten.
