4 per year, per the CBA. But it doesn't matter. They can post a vacancy for 1 spot and then withhold the guy anyway. That's extreme; not gonna happen. There will be vacancies and movement. It's going to be just fine yAAll

Once again this isn’t true. UPS is hiring, some of the LCC/ULCC/start ups are hiring, Delta will hit the hiring forecast for the year in Oct, so will not do any classes over the holidays and start again in January and is still handing out CJOs.

this. It’s gunna be super competitive again. I remember Eagle was hiring 400 in 2011, they hired like 5 of us out of a group of 15. Pretty stressful

From what I understand Avelo and Sun Country. Maybe others? I could be mistaken, I do t pay that close of attention. And UPS is hiring, regardless of the number. So the blanket statement that no one is hiring is blatantly false. Delta still has classes scheduled out to Oct, and recent memo says they are already working on the Jan classes.

lol “Avelo and Sun Country, maybe others, but (you) could be mistaken,” and no idea how much UPS is hiring. Nice, nailed it. Glad to hear things are going so well at delta, and, *checks notes* Avelo…

You’re right, that settles it. Industry fine, only AA is screwed… because Avelo and Sun country are hiring…
