Yet the guy who did the most damage to us was Legacy AA.

I was under the impression it was America West. Educate me please, always willing to learn AA’s history.

Comparing the 3XP to the December vacancy targets shows us with a surplus of 286 CA and a deficit of 330 FO system wide for a net deficit of 44 pilots starting in the December bid period. How do we get from there to 1300 overstaffed?

Guess we’ll know more in a month when the March vacancy is announced.

I for one would LOVE to be awarded a blank line but if you have a zip code seniority number you’re pretty much out of luck.

VR was legacy AA, who is getting the bulk of the blame for the business travel distribution debacle.

They're only a handful in the statuses they go to and they go senior. The majority of line swine will hum along as normal.

Blank lines are nothing new. Oh, free to pick up Premium etc also.

The airline is shrinking by 800 pilots a year, with new hire classes stopped.

when Boeing un-f itself, and deliveries flowing again, suddenly hiring is in panic mode

The world is not ending

Ops normal

Boeing is a VERY convenient excuse for a poorly ran airline.
