I'd like to think it's mainly an APC thing. This board seems to bring out the worst in those that get their sense of self worth from their employer. Pathetic really, but as you said it's not specific to one pilot group. Fortunately I don't see it much in real life - I've found it easy to drink beer with just about anyone.

I’ve received the one year pin, had my picture taken, and I’ll leave it at that. It’s not ironic, you’re just not comprehending why I empathized the 3 months on property. Nothing about being a lesser “newb”. He’s maybe off OE? maybe? How many EWR “events” has he been through? How many massive unnecessary DEN delays because a cloud popped up in sky has he been through? That 20 hour layover dwindled down to min rest meanwhile pax are teeing off on your employers product while you simultaneously wait for an answer from crew scheduling on how they’re planning on screwing you over. I could do this all day man, we both know but apparently he doesn’t… yet.

Not a single American-Delta-United pilot should be tossing grenades in another company’s thread on performance metrics, or about “that one time I rode the back of an airline I don’t work for and it was really really bad”.
