American Hiring Freeze

My experience is that the most ardent company person, who will swears the company can do no wrong, has "friends" in the office and thinks ALPA is full of radicals, will do exactly the same thing.

Assuming DFW 737? I could see that if you are taking packs off engine bleeds and putting them on the APU right after clearing the runway. I still wouldn't start the APU airborne though, just wait till after clearing, in case some non-normal stuff pops up, to avoid distractions.
I find the millennial and younger CAs are generally pretty good, what are you seeing? The older guys are just ****ed at everything in their life and take it out on the guy next to them. They use the FOs as therapists.

Even if all it takes is just one more button push I still would rather take the slightly easier path.
The fact that these people and the Kapo pilots want me to single engine taxi is reason enough to always run both engines and apu as long as possible.
Some of you people really need to start thinking of yourselves first. I have no problem not extending duty time even if i'm number 1 for takeoff.

yeah. At least play a realistic role. We’ve seen “old clueless guy about to retire but doesn’t know how to use DOTC” and a few others that at least get some chuckles but the “I’m a bitter A-hole who hates everything about this company and this job but still uses my free time to come on the forums to talk about it” is played out and boring.

Is there a substitute for the Line boards yet or just facebook? I'd love a non-union place to post general ops q's etc, the site really was useful.

100%. It gets old
I guarantee this person is someone who just likes stir crap. Same mentality as the meow'ers. They just like to see responses. Stop responding and they go away.
