What Base said, unless you have a source for something different? They just converted the first T Bird boack to an Oasis configuration, and will complete the rest once XLR deliveries start.

Very much not true. In fact I’m almost positive it’s 250 cutoff. NY to DTW you are 100% getting a full beverage service.

And to the guy who said we are better now than ever…. That’s pretty freaking sad to hear.

We are so poorly run and inefficient it's ridiculous. The amount of delayed flights at this place alone, I cant believe anyone chooses to fly with us. Throw in the 100% lack of customer service and the fact were still running 145s around everywhere, well. you get the point…

He isn't wrong but it takes a special kind of stupid to get so offended by a message board comment that you go on another airline's forum to call them ungrateful and also a special kind of arrogance to think any of them actually care what you think. But he's Delta so...

Worked for Republic so flew a good bit on both DL and UA as both passenger and pilot. Notable differences were Delta would often set out a coffee cart in the morning or a snack cart in the afternoon in the gate area to keep passengers happy. Longer turn time and padded block times made flights "appear" to be on time or early most of the time. Any problems at the gate a red coat would come over and sort things out (you'd be surprised how helpful it is to be able to easily identify a supervisor). However, their online systems were pretty awful and often had trouble getting cleared for the JS until the last minute. United's best asset was their online interface. if there was a delayed flight you'd get a text message with an offer to change your flight with one click. It was super easy and very user friendly. Once I even got a text after a delayed arrival (paid ticket) that they were holding my connection and I didn't need to run for the gate. The actual flight portion of both carriers isn't that much different than ours, but the overall customer experience is much more than that.

How many free rides have you received on AA/UA and later went on to discuss with others how the product was different or sub-par to DL instead of just being grateful you got a free ride?

Or perhaps another DL pilot talking about how their commute to work on AA/UA was less than ideal, did you stop them and tell them to be "classy"?

I have experienced it first hand on multiple occasions. If they changed it very recently, good on them.

Na he just said you deltoids think way too highly of yourselves when in reality the only difference between airlines is the seat cover and paintjob.
