Whoa whoa whoa. You "know of guys" who left Spirit for AA and then quit AA and went back to Spirit (at the bottom) because "they got abused on reserve" at AA despite living in base?

I'll take things that never happened for $100, Alex.

Cool story. Said nobody ever. Delta has a lot of problems but only a fool or a liar would say they wouldn't want to work there given the chance.

AA has hired more Delta and United pilots over the past 3 years than they have lost to DAL/UAL.........I wonder why? Probably the better bases and retirements.

I think most of those pilots chose AA over DL/UA because they lived in an AA base. No commuting trumps all.

It's been fun to watch the mid-2000's into the lost decade regional pilots transition the "my dad can beat up your dad" posts from the regionals to the majors/legacies.

This is the last post I’ll reply too lol But I never once pretended to be an expert and to say I’m “leading on arrogance” disingenuous. A few things are opinions (like anyone else shares their here) and few other things are quantifiable (CD:00, etc..). So in stead of you calling out the guy who settled for personal attacks, you think I’m out of line for making an argument about IFEs and product? CRJJ, you should check your priorities.

I didn’t believe it either, but there they were at the bottom of the list (NK/AA base overlap so they stayed living in base).

I didn’t choose Delta because I don’t want to be a life long commuter? You said it yourself, living in base trumps everything.

Now I’m done lol

Well before you leave I want to express my appreciation for coming over to our ghetto and educating us second class citizens from your perch over there at United. Your 4 years of Part 121 experience is invaluable and your mentorship is much appreciated. Still pen palling Brian Bedford?

Apparently the second to last you'll respond to. Lol.

Leaving AA for Spirit was an extremely shortsighted thing to do as evidenced now that Spirit has announced furloughs. There's no way to justify such a stupid decision.
