The crazy parts about the older generation is that you all will **** on anyone regardless of situation. Got to a legacy quickly? Entitled, scared of upgrading. Got to a legacy slower than others for whatever reason? Stupid for not doing what you have to do to get there quicker. You wouldn’t have done anything differently so let’s not pretend that you would have. GMAFB.
You didn’t receive any email of an interview invite from either American or Delta. The story keeps changing on that btw. Your post history tells a different story. Why lie?

Also I’m not a boomer. I’m probably younger than you tbh. I’ll retire in the 1% at American. I flew with plenty of 24 year old RJ CA’s. Funny story, I was called out to ferry an RJ. The only way of transportation to the hotel was to rent a car. Both me and FO were too young. The company had to call the mechanic we dropped the jet off with to drive us to the hotel. I’ll never forgot that because he accidentally ran a freaking red light. Oh, and I know Republic was immediate upgrade at minimum flight time, yet you bailed? Why? We know why.

Haha!! Oh I would LOVE to go down that path with you brother. I have close friends at United. Your schedulers are borderline abusive with how they bend around contract language to place you on SC for no good reason. They just do it because they can.

You’re leading on arrogance and big mouth right now. I remember a couple years ago when we both asked for advice here while trying to get our 1,500h, now you’re all wisdom and know everything about legacy airlines and its secrets?. Make yourself a favor and try to be humble for a bit longer, instead of arrogant.

The part about SC is completely false. Perhaps under our old UPA (contract) it was true. They didn’t bend the rules, they just placed everyone on a SC or FSB.

Our new UPA puts limits. I have lived under both contracts on reserve (5 yrs) and it’s immensely better now. The rest of our reserve work rules start 8/1 and life should improve even more.

Also how many of your friends are commuters? Commuting to reserve is a special kinda of hell

IFEs is not exclusive to UA so being called a “SK puppet boy” isn’t even a good diss either. I’ve flown AA enough to know that they have a garbage product. IFE aside, GA and FAs are awful, pax can be just as rude. NPS, CD:00, STAR:00, and Completion are consistently behind UA/DL and sometimes SWA.

We don’t have have to agree on IFEs, but let’s not pretend like AA is best in class then settling for personal attacks. I know this is APC, but you can do better than that
That's pretty rich that a guy who works at Target is talking crap about Walmart. Guess Whole Foods turned him down.

SoFloFlyer is another victim of the United Kool-Aid CULTure. During UA’s Indoctrination they put a rag over his head, tied his hands behind a chair, then flipped the chair back and proceeded to water board SoFlo with the almighty rhapsody blue Kool-Aid until he agreed to abide to his lord and savior S. Kirby.

What you’re witnessing is another UA Kool-Aid boy abiding to their commitment. You AA guys probably haven’t figured this out, so SoFlo wants you to understand. United Airlines is the bestest airline in the whole galaxy bruh.

This isn't at all how financial reporting works, only the interest portion of a debt payment impacts the income statement. So when you see less than stellar net income numbers that’s all before any extra that is going to debt repayment outside of the interest. There’s not much left over because margins are lower at AA and the amount of money it costs to service debt is substantially higher than any other carrier. I have no dog in this fight but a lot of misinformation is geing thrown around regarding GAAP and SEC filinings. Having said that, AA is paying down debt in excess of the interest, but that is not reflected in net income or margin that you see reported after earnings.

Strange, I have the emails sitting in my inbox atm. Despite your young age, posting EVERY single detail about my life on the internet isn’t a good idea. Especially on a site you’re supposed to stay anonymous on 🤡

I didn’t upgrade at RPA because I didn’t have the 1000 hours of 121 time? I thought you’d know that since you did your own 10 year background check on me. While we’re at it, I didn’t upgrade at Spirit because I didn’t have the seniority to upgrade. They also stopped running upgrade class so there’s that. Idk why you were scrutinizing that, but okay. But go ahead and let me know how I “avoided upgrade like the plague.” Since you know my situation better than me.

As far as work rules go, I know of guys that were being absolutely abused at AA (while living in base) and went back to NK. You know who didn’t lose pilots to a ULCC? DL/UA. Again, you don’t want to go down that road, dude. A few people cried about being converted to SC and all of a sudden UA has the worst rules in the industry. Everyone here is LC. Being converted to SC is part of the game or the company wouldn’t have anyone to cover last minute flying.. But you would’ve already known that since you’re well versed in our contract.

Of all the APCers out there, you sound the most ignorant and arrogant. It’s almost impressive.. almost. We went from talking about IFEs and company scores to you settling for personal attacks, false accusations, and questioning why I made the decisions I did. You must think your **** don’t stank for you to have that much audacity.

Idk if your parents didn’t love you or you get shat on all the time from the CAs you fly with (probably the latter), but since it seems your only outlet for your frustrations and anger is to attack an anonymous stranger on the internet, you should probably seek help immediately. June is also Men’s Mental Health Month so lean into that okay, bud? It’s gonna be alright.
