So now we are insulting people in the spectrum? I take offense to that, as a father of a kid in the spectrum I guarantee my kid is not that stupid.

A14 is all that matters.

These were the most on-time US airlines, airports of 2023: report (thehill.com)

On-Time RankingAirlineOn-Time Arrival Percentage
  1. 84.72% Delta Air Lines
  2. 82.25% Alaska Airlines
  3. 80.61% American Airlines
  4. 80.04% United Airlines
  5. 76.26% Southwest Airlines
  6. 71.16% Spirit Airlines
  7. 69.29% WestJet
  8. 68.68% Frontier Airlines
  9. 68.33% JetBlue Airways
  10. 63.17% Air Canada
You're right, A14 is the only thing that matters. If D0 was in any way a real and important metric, A14 should not be exceeding it by that amount. Yet, D0 is what management is obsessed with.

If I get denied for whatever reason, then I’ll just check it on the jetbridge as she was following me down there anyway. She claims they “aren’t allowed to let us get on like that” or something equivalent to that. I said ok and looked the other way and just shook my head and rolled my eyes.

She said it like she was an authority figure over me or something. I wanted to say something else to her since I saw her talking rudely to other passengers, but didn’t want to cause a scene, since that’s not a good look for a pilot.

I asked the captain and he said yea sure no problem. Set my bag upfront, secured it, then I looked at the agent as I went back to take my seat and she gave me this evil look. Wasn’t trying to be an axx or anything, just doing what is actually allowed. She clearly didn’t like me “going over her head.” Oh well.
Just a few days ago at DFW I stood in uniform, ID visible, in front of the gate agent, who asked if I was operating the flight. I said no, I'm deadheading. She told me "you're not a deadheader. You're a normal passenger," and that was the end of the discussion. What part of dressed up like a pilot, with ID, she didn't get, wasn't clear. I wasn't impressed.

This is unfortunate; less interaction with the agents the better. No need to go up early. Once the pre-boarders get lined up, just muddle down with them. Walk up, scan, smile, they'll say nothing, you get in your seat. Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
