Hi all,

I’m relatively new here but I’m here to learn.

I’m strongly considering AA but I’m humble enough to understand that AA may not call, and that I should cast a wide net. That being said, it would be amazing to have offers from multiple companies.
As someone who doesn’t have any experience in contracts (I understand about half the language and how any of it works), can someone explain why a DAL pilot would make 7 figures to $2million+ more over a career?

Not commenting on that specific total but the biggest one would be profit sharing. Both contracts have ways to make a lot of money, especially if you are senior or flexible.AA has IMAX. Delta has rolking thunde and double dipping

The contract proves it. The end of the year salary thread backs it up. airbus is right and you are wrong..... again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Go to DAL or UAL. You've been warned

Does one have to "declare" that they are doing IMAX or is it just by virtue of hustling that someone qualifies by the end of a rolling flying year?

As the Beetles say, you need a little help from your friends. Less than 5% of the pilot group is able to IMAX.

mainly becuase a lot of people think it’s too hard to do. It’s really not. Biggest things are have a friend or friends you can wash trips with and be a line holder for 8 months.
