I don’t know why you’re still trying to sell this “only LHR” thing. You are still completely incorrect. Sorry that you had a couple tough times nonreving at a WO, but your understanding of the AA international route network is obviously limited and flawed.
Delta serves FCO from four airports.
American serves FCO from five.
Also the example you just cited from Delta includes a flight every other day, not even every day?
After typing all this I realize you are definitely trolling.

DIP finanicng is normal, and not indicative of a corporation "not having any money".
The reason a deal with USAir was put together is becuase USAir was failing. Parker smelled blood in the water and wanted to scoop up USAIR. Financiers backed Parker's plan and he was retained. AWA/Parker made those people tons of money, and the merged airline was going so well and the deal so lucrative, the financiers gave Parker the money to do it again with AA, who was an ailing and sick-puppy airline retained him again, and again made them tons of money.
Yeah, real losers that AWA/Parker.. LoL
BTW, when talking about AWA and deals/mergers, we are really talking about Doug Parker. He saved USAIR, bolstered AA, and forever changed the airline industry in a very radical way. Parker was a visionary, and he executed perfectly.

LoL LoL
Where do you think that giant pile of money and investmenst came from to swallow up LUS and LAA? AWA was hiring and expanding while AA way laying off. Those same AA furloughees when the merger happened chose to use their AWA sen # and retire their AA number. What's that tell ya big guy? LoL
Denial, not just a river in Egypt.
You're hilarious! ;-)

Let's see the route structure after cheaper jets (321XLR) come on line.

What was AWA doing when they merged with AA? International expansion? Profitable? If yes why would leave ever go after AA? BTW the merged company was 65/35 in AA's favor.
