As somebody who did send in a card but probably won’t vote for ALPA when it comes down to it, I think the ALPA crowd has a pretty big hill to climb. I certainly don’t think APA is perfect, but I mostly sent a card because I’d like to put this constant bickering to rest with a vote.
Assuming they even get the numbers for a vote, I think there’s a lot of folks like myself that won’t necessarily vote for change despite sending a card.

Thats your platform: “trust me, I know better”. You are a fool. I’m not an APA goon, I’m a guy trying to understand a .8% rate increase? Do tell, how am I misunderstanding a more-expensive union?

What is the case for ALPA? I have seen little to no information on “why ALPA”? It looks like they crapped the bed at FedEx and the bargaining for UAL resulted in a recall of their negotiating committee. So how is ALPA “better”?
Before you reflexively say APA Stan, I’m an average line pilot wondering why my dues should go up .8%.

If this is your “guy” just vote no. He’s vacuous, and there is no “there there”. I get it, APA is ripe for reforms, this guy ain’t it.
