Really, cause pretty sure it’s a max of 5 or 6 a month….

I was simply correcting his info about how it is at AA.

It isn't 14 hours during DOTC, it's outside.

And we do get paid for conversions and going unused and we have a max for involuntary conversions.

Of course it depends on base, but a lot of senior guys do bid SC if they live in base in hopes of avoiding flying since LC's get used first. So LC can go junior.

National town hall today had questions pertaining to ALPA. I wasn't able to listen in to the entire thing. It will be posted on the APA site soon.

I wish we could explore a merge. Dumping one Union for the other could hurt us if it isn't a negotiated deal. I hope we could vote on it at some point.

I don't hear much complaining about our contract when I fly. Narrow body CA. A couple complaints about trip trading. Some love reserve. All love the money. Almost all are pro ALPA. IMaxers make more than I make and they are very happy. I have in the past IMaxed but not to make more money. I like the time off.

The perception of vastly superior contracts at other airlines is a little hard to believe.

Yep, how do I rescind my card? I'm done.

The issue is not differences in current contracts. The problem is we have seen that the current union is weaker and less professional in negotiations than ALPA. The differences next time will be much more stark when we don't have the leverage to essentially guarantee like-for-like contracts with our peers.
