As to the booze, perhaps this is a good excuse to cut down on it a little bit.
Cheers
SC vs LC you'd have to figure out for yourself. I didn't care for SC - the unknown of "will I get called today?" I preferred to fly a bit more on LC but preferred getting
notified the day before - "hey dummy, I got some flying for you tomorrow."

I try to knock out as much queep at home as I can, home maintenance, mow lawn, wash car, run errands, etc on unused DP’s, then I feel like American is paying me to do housework.

Speaking of CLT, is it a senior base?
What’s the upgrade time for NB these days?
Want to live in base, if able to choose, DFW or CLT.
Where would be better?

I definitely did workout this morning and finish detailing my car. I can get used to this. My initial part of Oct was a little chaotic from getting junior assigned but now I’m in a better spot.

in March the junior guy is:

CLT AB CA - 9/19

CLT 737 CA - 11/21

CLT 777 FO - 11/17

its a very popular base, but huge. Very old at the top, so still movement happening.

That is true. But it is still a pain.

If you like both areas, dfw will check more boxes.

What do you mean by checking more boxes? I’m kinda thinking about CLT/DFW myself, long term.

DFW - bigger metro area and the stuff that comes with that.

CLT has better weather and the hills/mountain/beach aren't that far away. Not quite as hot so if you don't like the cold head to DFW. If you can't stand the heat, and CLT is hot enough(!), avoid DFW.
