"FOM CHANGE – BEARDS: Effective Sept. 13, the American Airlines FOM will change to no longer allow any FDJ occupant with a beard or goatee on mainline flights. This change was unilaterally imposed by management. APA was never involved in or formally notified about this impending change. Please direct any questions to your flight office."

So far, yes.
Some captains are claiming that they’ll refuse a flight if all four FAs have beards, because how could an FA with a beard be allowed in the flight deck during a lav break? Yeah I can’t imagine that happening often/ever, but it’s out there.
Same for when a Fed shows up with a beard- gonna be interesting!
