So heavy coming out of Europe the OPT ALT might be FL300? Coast out at FL320 as an expected maximum? Downwind to Europe? Maybe 1000-2000' higher? FL310 might be the typical first altitude and coast out at FL320-330???

Top of climb fuel burn is typically 8-10K?? 510 (520) minus gross weight = OPT ALT (Boeing OPT ALT, not how Airbus defines OPT ALT in the FMC). So 510 - 195 = FL315 OPT ALT 520 - 195 = FL325 OPT ALT. I'd use 510 as the base number but it might be 520. Or use 515 +/-.....

Different strokes for different folks. Do you like long flights? Will you not mind playing FB for a while? Do you not mind working 1-2 trips per month? Do you not mind changing time zones? Do you not mind trying to sleep on an airplane? Do you not mind pretty much zero open time/premium? If the answer to the majority of those questions is "no", the WB may be for you. I've got a lot of yes's to those questions so I'll be staying a relatively senior NB FO for now. Lots more money to be made over here, I don't mind "working" and I have better control over my life, vacation, CQT bidding, etc. I've seen lots of places in Europe with the military for weeks, sometimes months on end. It's definitely nice, but I'd rather go on my own time when I'm not hung over from flying through the night.
The trips aren't that long
Nothing wrong with being an FB
I actually averaged 1 trip every 6 months, late RAP's
No ex-wives, no need for premium
Could never sleep going east, came to work wide awake, so just watched a movie

It considers the weight, CI, and weather and spits out that number, so basically every flight is a use case for it? If you combine it with the FMS+ app, you can use it to find the optimal altitude for fuel savings and comfort.

only thing it considers is weight in no wind conditions. When have you flown with zero wind?
FMS+ and Dx filed (in that order) are far more pertinent if your goal is efficiency.
Some FMS units have a recommended altitude on them, but unsure if they download all the winds for your route or not. I believe it only goes out a couple hundred miles from when I was on the 777. I never got that deep into it.
