Is this the ACTUAL uniformed post? Nothing answered, no details, just a quick "blah blah" comment from the cheap seats. Can't waste time on no substance commentary here. Keep enjoying the benefits of NB seniority and if WB is so great I'm sure you'll hear about it.

Flying them out of DFW might be even better because you've only got to do 3x 3-day trips to pay 75 hours.
Honestly I really hope the XLR comes to PHL, and it hits all the botqiue destinations the 75/76 used to do. The 787 I'm guessing will do the bigger destinations if they can build it up to where it used to be.

FWIW flying wb to Europe was some of the most rested I've ever been. It's a little tough when you get in over there and only sleep four hours or so, but then going to bed around midnight their time you sleep ~8 hours, and on the way back home have a nice three hour break in the middle where you can disengage your mind.

787 trips for the most part have the same duty day times as NB for more pay, no sits and you end up somewhere cool. You have a large cockpit if you need to stand. You're swapping positions every 2-3 hours. The cabin altitude is 5-6k, it's humidified. It's stupid quiet. You fly one leg and done. There are 5 gate agents and 2 mechanics on every departure. That means no drama. The company wants the flight out. That means you're #1 for fuel, catering, de-ice etc. When you get where you're going the bus is waiting. You don't like to work? Bid reserve in the winter and fly 3-5 times over 4-5 months. Sometimes you go months without flying. The crews are senior enough that they don't have a "got something to prove" chip.
There's a reason it goes so senior.
I'm like user, never been so rested. I don't think I'll ever go back to NB.

These forums were built on no substance commentary...but fair enough...

Ok, I think that's about the end of the list.

I really think people are sleeping on the PHL XLR flying. It will be some of the best flying best destinations in the business, assuming there is a TATL bid status like JBU does. That status doesnt protect you from any other airbii flying so who knows? So eastbound XLR flying good, westbound XLR flying is status quot plus differential. Win win!
