I'm just trying to warn them not to make a mistake. Nothing ironic about that.

most of it on AUG 31st. Some stuff Aug 1st. A variety of other things 3 to 36 months down the road and/or “requires” the company and union to come to agreement with how the section will be implemented.

Hey JB, guess what? They are all big boys & girls. They know ALPA isn't the panacea to all their APA grievances. They also understand their own union's dysfunction better than you or I.

AA is welcome back to ALPA with open arms if AA pilots choose to do so. Just do us a favor and if you come back, negotiate a lower dues % for the rest of us, will ya?

Looking at the implementation timeline document, lots of items say "DOS" (21 Aug), where did you see 31 Aug?

So in other words, shut up and color.

Nah. They deserve to know what they are getting in to, and not just from a bunch of sycophants.

And it's not just about dues. But it is a terrible investment.

there is a blurb in there about the next contractual month as the “date of sign”. Aug 31 is the first day of Sept for us

Not what I said, JB.

They get your point. It’s not all green grass over in ALPA. No need to spam multiple threads in another airline’s forum ad nauseam with your personal agenda though.

This comment surprised me. What are the major differences between this contract and DL/UA?
