And I guess when you do operate operate JFK-MEX (leaving at 1900 day one) and then operate MEX-JFK the next day (leaving at 2300 day two and getting in at 0600 the next day) and get 15:45 with 5.3 soft pay for it being a three day, you get "nothing" for that...

That's a curious interpretation. The ending of the sequence is when it matters most.

Keeping more pilots on reserve is inefficient for the company. Lineholders provide the company predictability and more productivity.
AA under current book has the highest percentage of reserves in the industry because as many have called out on these pages, it is a very pilot friendly (read: inefficient) system. For example…a majority of SC RSV pilots in my base/fleet/seat fly between 50-65 hours a month and get paid for 76.

I don't have a vested interest in spinning the TA one way or another. I have minimal say and so do you with your singular vote (if you have one). Maybe someday after you retire you'll realize it wasn't all bad here and you'll wish you weren't so bitter about literally everything.

You came up with the straw man acting like it's some travesty there isn't a "night override" if you get back after 0159 HBT. It's called another day of min day. As you said yourself, that's standard.

Does every airline have night override? Do other airlines pay Long Haul NB override? Do other airlines pay 321 rates for 319/320?
my point is no place will have it all. Some will have better some will have worse.

The reserve system is inefficient because the Scheduling Directorate keeps it that way. They don’t want it to be efficient because that silo might be subject to downsizing. It’s an antiquated, incestuous system that, like most other principalities in AA Land, operate independently and, mostly hidden from C-suite management.
Hey, if so great! RSV will still be inefficient under the new system, "buckets" won't be the boogeyman people are thinking it may be, RSV will still go senior and pilots who bid it will continue to fly less but get paid more. Sign me up!

The OP's question, does AA have night override? I want a yes or no answer from you.
