If you like shorter trips (as I do), the pairing distribution in this TA (which is guaranteed by domicile/seat/equipment) beats DAL/UAL by any measurable metric. Yes, we've all heard the argument that its not much better than what we have now, yada yada....but don't say its not industry leading against the other legacies, because it is. Sure, UAL has a higher percentage of 1 days guaranteed, but their percentages are spread out across their whole system. They could award all of those 1 days to one domicile or drastically weight them in any direction they want.

I dont know for sure of course, but perhaps because they have been in contract negotiations for 4 years and calculated that the juice wasn't worth the squeeze in implementation when they felt a new contract was pending just around the corner (they probably have felt that way since at least summer of 2022?)
That calculus could change in a heartbeat if they felt they were buckling in for a long fight and current book was going to rule the day indefinitely….OR if the decision was made to just implement it out of spite.

I take offense to that. Three major things for me for voting against this turd (in no particular order). TTS open time limit (lack of), no j/s in a/c bow and the sick/vacation lack of credit for the reserve month that TankerDriver mentioned. Sorry*, I want QoL. Again, you are watching items that APA gave/ will give away.
*Edit: I am not sorry. F APA.

There are lots of people whining about what’s not in this contract and screaming no when the items they want weren’t a goal for the NC.
It is debatable whether or not we will goto mediation after a no vote but we will absolutely have at the minimum another delay similar to how long it took to get TA1.0 after the board rejected last fall. It would require a full negotiation process with a new set of asks. Whatever gains come from that process will not offset the losses.
Im not sorry either. Some of our coworkers are like petulant children. It feels like the day after Christmas and a kid is complaining about why his friend got a toy he didn’t when they both got what they wanted.
Imsosuss is a great example. I can only hope they are in the minority.

the NC failed or the BOD failed to guide them to demand more QOL items. I mean my god… zero fixes to TTS and OTL???
Don’t forget the numerous grievances STILL unsettled…

It would seem obvious that if the surveys you are speaking of were conducted prior to final TTS implementation they wouldn’t be validated.
How can anyone fill out a survey about QOL in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, when the response is the solution is “in the works already”.
AA finalized a turd from the last contract 15 mins before the new contract and if the vote fails it is on them not the NC or the BOD.
The NC and BOD are at fault for accepting the company at their word.
