We have a completely different operation. They have more international flying we have more domestic. Different domiciles with different leg lengths. This is a perfect example of the “they have it so I want it” argument without actually investigating the issue. Maybe it’s good for us maybe it is’nt but just cuz they have it doesn’t mean we want it!
but the “no’s” don’t want to hear that!

ACD was viewed as a win, but all the nice high credit turns went away and were absorbed into regular trip lengths in order to bring the block up and meet ACD. It also added a bunch of victory laps onto 3 and 4 day trips.
I have no idea what the fascination with this 10 hour duty day is. Do you like working more per day or more days per month? Because we're not going to be working less with less duty per day. Everyone realizes this, right?

A min day pay credit would've decimated staffing in the midwest bases and pushed all staffing out to the coasts from what the APA has said.

How did this pilot group become so gullible?

I’d support better F time rig. Time away from home is pretty much the only number I care about, within reason.

It doesn't affect WB flying.
"Different leg lengths" cmon man. AA, UA, DAL all have similarly geographically located hubs with a possible outlier being SEA but MIA is similar for AA. You're reaching. Forcing the optimizer to "fight" between 5:15 and <10 FDP would be a win. Period.

Delta's biggest hub by far is on the east coast (ATL). Their midwest hubs are pretty small - MSP and SLC. DTW is pretty big, but still no where near the size of the coastal hubs.
No idea about United, but their CLE, IAH, ORD bases aren't very big. They have sizeable bases in EWR and SFO, also coasts. Not sure about DEN. It has been growing in the past few years.
Our biggest pilot based hub is in the midwest (DFW)
