BOS base

It's not really rumor mill. The VP of flight ops from NY just talked about it in an email. He said XLR flying will be done in BOS and a bus base will happen. He also said it isn't "weeks or months" away and that it was probably a lower priority than other new categories.

thanks. Good to hear it's being talked about and could become a reality. Planning on coming over from JB so trying to manage BOS expectations.

so good news for a NH FO wanting BOS but a crawl up the list after that... assume CA will stray very senior for a while. If 321 came to BOS would that be growth most likely complementing the 73?

Exactly, and worse case you have an easy commute to PHL or LGA, or even DCA or CLT. 4 commute choices that are way easier than what 90% of commuters do. BOS is a great base, super nice FA's, can't speak for the pilots as I'm an AB guy and have never flown with them, but the FA's are very nice and very professional. Seems to be a tight knit group. I'm guessing the pilot side is like that too.

The newsletter implies the latter by saying they want to make BOS "an A320 base," and that it would be a "better solution than what we have now."
I wish they would clarify, because I hear guys talking about it and many are assuming there will be both fleet types in BOS.
