Nicely done. That's a 'promote ahead of his peers' resume in today's market! Resumes like that make the hard working recruiters eyes teat up! ;-)

Agreed ! Great experience. Just curious where you flew the Shorts? I had to look up that type on Google.
I flew for Allegheny; their previous airline, Reading Suburban flew the shorts.

Thank you kindly! I had a corporate career (non-flying) mixed in there as well. Was kinda unsure if my 350 hours in the last two years would be sufficent. Worked out in the end. Grateful for AA, and tips from you all, to be able to successfully navigate the process. Starting on 1/17/24.

We started a small government contracting company (USG, DoD, USAF, USN, OGA, you get the idea) based in Fort Lauderdale about four years ago. It is an aviation themed group to compliment a subsea, surface/maritime, organization that did the same. We acquired the Shorts from a GSA auction, out of Davis-Monthan AFB in Tuscon, AZ (graveyard.) It was actually a C-23B from the Army prior. We jumped through hoops to get it FAA certified as airworthy, put onto a Part 135 certificate, and employed for commercial work on CARB and WASP contracts. Flexed into commercial cargo as well, but much less margin. The rear ramp door is highly versatile and in high-demand for jump ops and air drops. Blue Tide Aviation, Blue Tide Marine.
