Our competitors.

I’m not sure about UA/DL specifically.

I believe Delta’s is “First Class seating on deadheads 3:00 or greater with subsequent working legs and First Class seating if deadhead is a redeye”.

However someone from DL/UA would have to confirm.

Paging Mr. Chrisreedrules

UA gets First Class DH on all DH, as long as there is a seat available at time of booking.

Does that include for training? Also, what if there’s only one seat in Business, and the sequence is for both CA and FO, who gets the seat?

Recurrent training, yes. I don't believe so for Newhire training. Not sure about the CA/FO situation, I'd guess the CA but I don't know.
