0-6 months depending on your timing with the next vacancy bid and getting hired

Thanks! I just started looking at the airlines recently. Mostly corporate. I’m 36 years old. How does the career progression look for someone my age? Haven’t missed the boat have I?

Amazing..However, get in now!! Don't wait another day. Apply, apply now! We have massive retirements coming the next 5 years plus AA wants to grow. So if you get in soon, we don't have another down cycle. and get a new AIP, you should have a great career.

Good news! Thank you for the response. How many retirements do you guys have coming up in the next 5-10 years? I assume the mass retirements will drop upgrade times for the 737/320 and FO times for the 777/787? What a time to be a pilot.

If you get hired today, you’ll likely be a narrowbody captain within 3 years. You might not see the left seat of a widebody, though.
