I wish I had done this, I took the advice of a couple AA guys that said to not bother trying to prepare. I did well on several portions, but did poorly on a few. Feel like my brain short circuited and bombed the short term memory one, though I guess it’s hard to prepare for that one ahead of time. Ah well, hopefully they get desperate enough to still give me a call!

I would definitely practice and do not recommend going in cold. You may even consider paying for prep, but Pilotest.com is a good free intro to the format although the control response and format vary slightly especially for the tube test . On the actual assessment you can practice before you play for each section. For the sudoku go for accuracy over speed and learn some of the tips in the this video (https://youtu.be/RWD8GDEk3Lk)--the idea is that you don't solve the whole puzzle, but eliminate the wrong ones. For the memory game, I just memorized the top row and guessed the same square until I got it right if it wasn't in the top row so I got the top row plus one right. The work traits/personality test is a way to gauge your cultural fit, go with your gut, but more extreme answers may set you up for contradicting yourself later on, as the test seems to pit values against each other to tease out which ones really matter to you. Everyone I talked to about that said don't overthink it and go with your gut and be yourself. The only thing I'd add to that is to approach it with the mindset of being your best version of yourself at work. So if your tool bench at home is full of unfinished projects because you put in overtime or were deployed then you probably aren't thinking about answering that question about the statement "usually I don't finish projects" from a work perspective and you may slightly agree with "sometimes people annoy me."
