Didn't think about the frustration factor or like someone told me afterwards--you could just record it with your phone and replay. This won't work with DAL which records via webcam. Also, I think if you get too many that's more suspicious. My interpretation was more about if I could strategize a way to maximize score so I focused on just making sure I had the top row and then guessed the same square in the next row if it wasn't one I remembered until that one matched and then went to the next. I think I got the top row and one more. Seems that was good enough since I passed.

I just used snapchat to film the flashing pictures, and it loops constantly. I missed a couple on purpose to make it look like I didn't cheat

I've been practicing the Pilot Skills Test using pilotest.com and I'm completely demoralized. I can do fine with the pattern recognition, reaction time and even the memory test but I'm having trouble with the timed math problems. Most of them are in a format where a calculator doesn't help either. I've never had a problem with the math problems on any pilot exam I've ever taken, or even simple calculations in the airplane, but these are on another level for the speed they want. For example 30 seconds to solve (4+__-__) x 3 + __= 55/5, where the blanks have to be filled with numbers 1-9 with no duplicates. I understand how to solve this problem but it's the time limit that's kicking my butt. Has anyone completely tanked the math portion and still received an interview invite? Is this really designed to test your math skills or your frustration tolerance?

Agreed. The actual skills test is a lot easier than the online practice tests. The math section can easily be accomplished with a calculator. I doubt most finish every single question in the allotted time. Like the guy above said, just relax and knock it out!

At least on Pilot Credentials, they said you need to do it in one sitting. They recommend you set aside an hour and a half to do all the modules. Not sure if it is exactly the same on the new app.

Submitted new system app a couple weeks ago. Did the AON late last week (I think Thursday) after receiving the email for it. Since the AON invite, all the tabs on my application are gone except for the personal info screen. Good sign or no?
