AA has a small number of widebody aircraft. AAs network focuses on domestic flying for revenue generation, especially regional flying.

But a new contract which fixes QOL issues on the domestic side plus additional 787 deliveries could change the dynamic considerably.

It also has to do with the number of categories you can bid here vs Delta/United and seat locks. For instance we only have 4(737,320,777,787) not very long seat locks, Delta has 8(71,73,75ER,764,220,320,330,350) and they have 2 year seat locks with some * of getting out of them and United has 5 (320,73,75/76,777,787) but they also have way more WB than both AA and Delta. I'd be willing to bet if AA still had 330s, 75/76 and EMB190s we would be seeing quick upgrades and new hires to WB.
