The big news on this bid is PHX and BOS. Post merger hires (9 Dec 2013 and on…) can now hold CA in every base that we have, pretty huge actually, and I wasn’t expecting this at all, thought it would be 2 more years. Also biggest LAX movement for 320 CA since pre lockdowns.

The last vacancy bid had almost everybody hired through March getting the base they wanted. The 9 to 12 month wait to get to some of the more selective bases may be over with, at least for now.

Except for ORD 737 FO I believe. A few classmates in my March class want to get to ORD and didn't get it.

The lowest one I saw was 15466. I didn't check specifically but I assumed that was early March. But could be late Feb.

If you have the seniority required and don’t change equipment/seat is there anything (rules/contract wise etc) that would prevent you from using vacancy bids and/or MBE to hop around multiple times per year? For example something like winters in PHX, summers in PHL or elsewhere?

Yes, people do that all the time. Seniority helps a ton. Need someone on the other end to support a MBE. Some bid for any and all TDYs and hop around from domicile to domicile, if TDY is available.

As with everything in this industry, seniority is everything. Don’t expect to be able to do everything you want right away.

I'm in the 4/19 indoc class and I'd love to get CLT 320. Sounds like I won't have to wait too long for it.
