Wall Street has a 21.77% chance AA faces “financial hardship” in the next 2 years.. $40 Billion in debt… codeshare with Alaska and then the whole partnership with JetBlue, which is now done.. yeah, that’s not growth. Pilot hiring stopped until June 2025? Deferred 787’s, cutting back more and more from Austin… AA is downsizing to try and get profitable. That’s just math, mathing.

I highly doubt it. I'm not sure why he left. I never understood the whole "culture" thing. Everytime I J/S on AA it's been some of the best crews, PERIOD. I can understand hating mgmt but that usually just builds comraderie, lol.

Yes, the culture thing is some internet echo chamber nonsense, that for some reason persists WRT AA pilots. My theory is it’s because most AA folks don’t care enough to take the time to say otherwise. A vast majority of us like our job, like the people we fly with, and like the corners of the contract envelope we chose to exploit. Is there room for improvement? Of course. But anyone who says otherwise at any legacy is FOS.

I think day to day life at each airline is vastly different. Same with international vs domestic. AA does have the best bases though and the most retirements

I disagree, day to day life at each legacy is quite similar on average. Fleet type is what really matters. Widebody vs narrowbody is a huge difference. AA 737 vs DL 737, not so much.
