Thousands of pilots have had their career impacted by failures of their current airlines, and did not have the fortune to have a legacy carrier hiring essentially street captains into their EWR base.

Wall Street has a 21.77% chance AA faces “financial hardship” in the next 2 years.. $40 Billion in debt… codeshare with Alaska and then the whole partnership with JetBlue, which is now done.. yeah, that’s not growth. Pilot hiring stopped until June 2025? Deferred 787’s, cutting back more and more from Austin… AA is downsizing to try and get profitable. That’s just math, mathing.
