oof, getting reported more and more on the major news outlets, they are combining the Jetblue push back collision with this runway incursion to invent some kind of crises. "things are out of control at JFK"

Not a good look for American.

I’m surprised Delta didn’t get much attention Landing short with the 330 touching on gravel prior the the asphalt. That could have been catastrophic if the wheels dug in or something causing the plane to crash.

There is a mission, if you want to stay employed and work for a viable airline.

Even the FAA knows that... NOTAMs

This is an airline, not a branch of the military. A lot of you seem to forget that.

I know the difference: You can cancel a lot of "missions" in the military, and still keep getting paid.

No need to run to run to your safe space and curl up in a little ball every time something doesn't go perfectly smoothly. The AA crew was on the ground for 30 minutes, obviously debriefing and talking to company... they didn't just press on with no second thoughts. You have no basis to absolutely say they should have canx it. If you're in that position someday it might be the right call for you to canx, but you can't speak for others.

Some days you are just out of tune with the choir.
You can let go of the mic on this one.

There is a job, there is no mission.
