if it’s an industry speed bump like COVID was they will work with you. But if you have a cjo already they will plan to put you in class this year. Now what that date is I do not know. Guess would probably be sept time frame.

one of the late Dec CJOs was called by recruiting and told Sep 3rd will likely be his start date due to the summer cancellations. I would probably expect the same.

That would be fine by me, would just love a call so I could plan.

Im sure it wouldn’t hurt to just email recruiting and ask. Just tell them your situation and you are wondering what to expect given the recent cancellations.

I noticed that candidates from May 15th and 22nd class dates are being bumped up to earlier classes. Just curious if they are trying to empty out the mid to late May classes. Especially since there isn't June, July, or August classes.

Noticed that as well, but I was also told that 3 from the Jan 10 interview/CJOs were offered May 29 class dates. This was last Friday. Maybe the bumps are to increase class sizes or to fill seats of people deciding to go elsewhere. I was bumped up from May to April myself

It is probably backfilling seats from folks who ended up somewhere else.

I had a similar experience. CJO:9-Jan, Class Offered: 29-May.

I accepted the 29-May offer and also let recruiting know that I was available for an earlier slot should one open up.

They let me know a few days later that 1-May class start date was on the table if I wanted it. There was a deadline within which to respond, or the deal was off the table and next applicant on the waitlist would be offered.

In the 1-May WhatsApp, a few of the 1-May folks report that they also originally were offered a later start date that slid to the left. One of the 1-May folks left the 1-May chat due to being offered an even earlier April date.

This type of roster-shuffling prior to an expected start date seems like the norm. My sense is that nothing will be solid until day-1-butt-in-seat.

all sounds about right. I have a few friends in the 1 May that were offered April class dates. Lots of shuffling happening this past week. I was moved up 1 month and I’ll gladly move up again if they call.

I am curious as to how and why they select certain people from certain classes to backfill earlier open slots. Offering 15 and 22 May candidates an earlier class in that month or even a month early and yet I haven't heard from recruiting offering me an early class date being an 8 May candidate. It must be that I have that U.S. Army stink on me!! JK of course
