Looks like he is stating an opinion that seems to have a good chance of coming true. When you are constantly looking for something to be offended by it's easy to be offended.

I take it you were offered an earlier class date than your original 22 May?

A recruiter reached out and did confirm classes in June, July, and August are indeed not happening. The rep I spoke to also told me that AA CJOs are good for 1 year, so hopefully those of us who got CJOs in January will be in class before the end of the year.

I don't think he was offended, he was simply pointing out that whatever pilot group ends up benefitting from their management picking over the bones of Spirit's or any other airline's carcass should have some humility about it.

I don't like Spirit's product or their hideous livery. I have compassion for their pilots who may end up out of work or with their careers stagnated.

Not only that but if We (Spirit) sell planes or liquidate, there is no Gaurantee AA, DAL, UAL end up with them. There are European/Asian airlines as well that might be interested, lol.
