I have the interview scheduled for 8/2.
I was right where you were, looking for an interview prep service just over a week before my interview... I went with emerald coast. Wonderful people, lots of experience, however the videos are a little dated, but the content is still valid today on how to answer questions. Plus you can do unlimited "rapidfire" sessions with a consoler in a group setting. I think it was Google groups. The interview questions are tailored to your airline and they will assess your answer and give you a format to follow. OR just subscribe to aviationinterviews.com and have a few of those questions practiced and boom your hired. Just bring a nice suit, smile, and revolve you answers around customer service. (They know you know how to fly a plane, but how are you with the people you work with, fly for, sit next to?)

I selected option 2 and opted to wait for all the checks to be completed before starting training, does anyone have an idea on how long hire right takes to complete the background check? Also if I change my mind could I call them and say that I will start without waiting?

Has anyone had any luck getting an interview with less time? Currently at a major 135 with 1800+ TT and 300+ SIC turbine.

Is it worth applying now and continuing to update my application, or wait until I’m closer to 2000+ TT?

It's always worth applying and updating. I'd say you're highly uncompetitive with your limited flight experience but, I'm not the one making the hiring decisions! Apply and see what happens.

The son of a friend is a CA at Envoy. He supposedly got a CJO in February but still no class date. He’s not a flow—hired off the street. Looks like you guys are getting class dates in way less time. Is he getting hosed or do I have the story wrong?

he is getting hosed because he is envoy. People are applying, hired and getting into class in 1.5 months.

I believe I'm in the same boat, although my CJO came in May.
