This should be addressed and I hardly hear anyone talk about it. You should check option 1 for the soonest class. Yes, seniority is everything.

Anything in your closet that may affect your background check should have already been disclosed in the interview. If you didn't and they find it, the result will be the same regardless of how long you've been at the company. There's no statute of limitations for lying on an app or background check. Honestly I feel like the option 1/2 thing is a bit of a trap. You shouldn't be worried about the checks being completed unless you have something to hide. It seems most folks in the recruiting office agree.

no, Indoc can be as fast as a week. The 2-3 month wait is for ground school/sims.

My Timeline so far 9/16 MTC - MIA , 9/28 Interview & CJO ; Background / DOT Checks reported complete 10/28 - email 11/15 expect Early 2023.

So they are giving out class dates without regards to CJO dates. Know someone that interviewed a week after me and already has a class date… same experience level too.

I did email one of the talent coordinators just to tell them again that I am available immediately kinda low key hinting about any possible class dates! One of the talent coordinators came back to me and said all my background stuff cleared and the next contact Ill get is from one of the station managers that handles the class date!

Yes, pretty much. They go for a set dynamic for each class and because of that usually pick around several weeks of CJOs to fill specific class dates. Don't ask me what that dynamic is, I have no idea. But a mix of CAs, FOs, ACMIs, Regional, AA WO Flows, Part 91/135, straight from mil, Samoans, etc.
