I was also AD mil hired last summer. My app had been in for about 2 months, no response. I went to a conference and got called within a week. Along with many others here I highly recommend going to at least one. It seems to put your app at the top of the pile.

Not sure if availability gap plays a factor. They hired me 2 months before my availability date and followed up a month later to ask if the date I gave them was still correct.

mine was in for 8 months. They reached out 2 months prior to availability. Also mil heavy background. Didn’t attend any events.

I’ve heard as quick as 2.5 weeks from CJO to Day 1 of class; happened this month
