I can show you on my schedule and paycheck (or lack thereof considering I currently have two outstanding direct connects where I am owed thousands of dollars yet am ignored by the payroll dept and chief pilots office)
But sure, keep drinking the kool aid. AA management loves stooges like you and newbies who are too blinded by the shiny lights and rah-rah we’re one big happy family team member mentality that plagues this place. Just take a look at Skyview and compare it to your crew room and tell me you’re a valued “team member” with a straight face.

Oh brother. It’s all in the attitude of life, and you clearly are one of those folks I’ve seen too many times over the years who just HATE their jobs, hate the company they work for, mock anyone who dares have a different opinion on literally anything, and are just plainly miserable, period. Dot. The end. But wait. The comeback is ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS, “no, I’m a realist!” Ok, sure man.
Do contracts change? Is today’s place to be tomorrow’s place NOT to be? Always, yes.
But hey, you’re not angry and bitter. Not at all. 🙄
Not sure your age, but clearly AA is not your place, so (with DL and UA hiring as many as we are, and with more upside for you, I assume), why are you not getting out asap? Don’t tell us you’re stuck here for whatever reason because no one is forcing you to work here. There’s no gun to the head.
Move on man. Go to DL or wherever you’ll be happy. The more time you waste here, the more seniority you’ll lose elsewhere.

Oh, day 1 of the our crackpot IT teams new version of trip trading started yesterday. Apparently it takes about 5 minutes to load up the webpage just to try and execute a trade that is destined to fail. Something that was previously accomplished in about 30 seconds. What say you about that?

I love how you’re full of personal attacks on a stranger from the internet, yet refuse to even touch on anything I said. Keep rowing! It’s weaklings like you who don’t push back that keep us from progressing forward and instead get consistently walked over.

Bet you're either still mad about the merger(s) or you got shot down by every other airline and you're stuck here. Bet you came out of the MIL and haven't held too many real aviation jobs before this one either. Sucks to be "stuck" here at a legacy international airline where someone can make almost $300,000 flying as a NB CA or WB FO within 5 years of getting hired. It's guys like you that mAAke everyone else miserable at work. You're the outlier. Everyone but you can see that. You're part of the problem.

it will take a while but later this year, when the new hires at AA realize that a contract is still not even close, some of them will begin to leave for Delta, United and others. Delta and United will have pay rates about 20% higher, higher profit sharing, more WB planes, and MUCH better work rules. The only ones that will feel happy about staying are those that live in DFW, CLT, or MIA and enjoy flying Narrowbody aircraft for significantly less money, with less sick time, less vacation time, and enjoy working for an airline who does not value their employees and will never be leaders in the industry. Heck, we can’t even nonrev travel in aisle or window seats anymore. Middle seats only for AA employees going forward! Exciting times.

Ahh the personal attacks when you can’t contradict anything I said. Love it! Management loves the mission hackers like you! Keep rowing!

Who said I was miserable? I’m calling out the huge disparity between AA and UAL/DAL (I have good friends at both and they can’t believe the crap we put up with) for people about to make such a big career decision when there are much better options out there. Pretty simple really. Does that make me miserable? Nope.
