The recruiters announce the signup links on LinkedIn ~2 months prior. I don’t want to list some names, but just search “American Airlines pilot recruiting” and follow as many as you can find. Sometimes the signup link is on the conference website and you’ll stumble on it before it’s announced.

You need an app on file to be considered for a meet and greet. If you’re not at mins or don’t get a MG, you can wait in line to speak with someone.

Last year I was able to sign up for a couple airlines meet and greet including AA on the OBAP website. It was pretty easy to find. Also, might help your chances if you volunteer at the event, can also sign up on the website. There were a few interviews offered but hiring seems to have slowed since then.

If somebody is given a CJO with a certain class date and then that person (Let’s just call him Bob) tells American he needs a month or two more to get his ducks in a row (lots of stuff at home going on) would American Airlines be mad and try to revoke your CJO or would they be accommodating if they are given at least a month notice?

They’re flexible. This isn’t spirit.

I actually do have a lot of my plate. And it kind of came on pretty sudden.

However, I do think the bankruptcy announcement is going to happen maybe between six months and one year

I know with the bankruptcy they can force a new contract, which would obviously mean a slash in pay.
